We had the pleasure of hosting a group of newly licensed AutoStar dealers from around the country this week at our third official Autostar University session. Auto Dealers flew in from NewMarket, Ontario; Shingle Springs & San Diego, CA; McDonald, PA; and Muskego, WI.
Everyone arrived motivated and full of anticipation at the two day orientation schedule ahead but not quite knowing what to expect. The first day kicked off with some excellent presentations by our staff and industry partners, and our guests contributed some great ideas along the way. At the end of the day we all retreated to the famous County Line restaurant nestled in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, to enjoy some great food in excellent company. A good time was had by all!
The second day was in danger of starting slower as a result of the previous evening’s entertainment. Until, that is, the New Mexican breakfast burritos arrived liberally dosed with red and green chile. That fired everyone up (literally and figuratively!) and we got off to a great start. A special shout out has to go to the tireless Jack Garrity who stepped in at short notice to make a second presentation, on behalf of another company’s representative who was unavoidabley detained.
We concluded over lunch with an informal discussion where everyone was in agreement that the university session provided great value to all participants, in a very relaxed and informative environment.
Thank you industry partners for all your hard work and effort and an even bigger thanks to our newly licensed AutoStar dealers for taking the time out from running their busy operations to attend.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. George Lovato Jr. Chairman of AutoStar Dealer Network for the time spent at AutoStar University. This was my second visit to AutoStar University with my senior management team and we all agree that the benifits of attending far outweigh the cost of time and money. Each time we attend we walk away with a much better understanding of their goals and the amazing partnerships they have created with our suppliers.I would strongly suggest that if your are even thinking of joining the AutoStar family do yourself a favour and attend one of their sessions.Once you meet the team who is behind AutoStar you will want to sign up ASAP.
What a great experience and what a great feeling I have now that I met the AutoStar team in person. I was very impressed with all of the vender partners that AutoStar has assembled for the benefit of the dealer body. I want to give a special thanks to George Lovato Jr. and Ken Zangara for making me feel part of the team. My store is absolutely pumped about becoming an AutoStar dealer and my managers are very anxious to attend future AutoStar University sessions. It’s refreshing and comforting to know you can call and get the help and support you need right from the top.
I would have to agree with Mr. bints comments ( I guess I would have too! as I report to him) OK, so I am only kidding ( we do that in Canada). I have mentioned how many Gold Medals Canada won,,,,,have I??????
If I could us only one Olympic word (WOW)…we were that impressed with our initial visit in Oct. of 09 let alone our second to attend ASU. On our first visit we left with pages of questions, concerns and maybe some doubt but once George laid it all out we knew we had to part of his team. Have I mentioned how many Gold Metals Canads won!
If I could some up Autostar in a few words it would be this, “as do our engines, brakes pads, and wipers coverages go we know that in AutoStar we have a lifetime guarentee of ultimate brand recognition with unparallel sales and service providing generous profitabilty for our dealership”…..

Final note: 14 Gold….most in the history of the games by one country…
